The Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging Handle 7075Al Steel is a premium upgrade for a premium shotgun. The Rx Arms 7075Al Steel Charge Handle is the best of the best, made with a high quality and tough 7075-T6 handle permanently fused with a 40+ RC hardened stainless steel pin, creating in essence a 1pc charging handle. This Anti-Spin, Locking Design keeps the bolt handle in place while racking the bolt. It is CNC Precision Machined to tight tolerances to ensure optimal performance.
The Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging Handle 7075Al Steel weighs a mere 9 grams for the 0.55″ and 12g for the 0.75″ handle size, finished in a premium Black Cerakote coating. Retaining the toughness needed for heavy duty use and keeping the weight as light as or lighter than the OEM charge handle, while providing a much bigger gripping surface. Some manufactures produce charging handles that are upwards of 28 grams or more. The risk in this heavy of a handle, is failure or breakage, due to the whipping effect of the bolt cycling. The handles also feature a “volcano” style knurl to reduce sharpness on skin while providing adequate grip.
7075-T6 is vastly tougher than 6061-T6 aluminum. With 185% more tensile strength, 182% more yield strength, 160% more shear strength, and 158% more hardness.

Why Upgrade The OEM Benelli M4 Charging Handle?
A question I see a lot online, is why bother upgrading the OEM charging handle at all? While the original design is a classic look, the size can be impractical if using an aftermarket bolt release mod such as my Benelli M4 Bolt Release Tab. Although it can work, typically, with an aftermarket bolt release tab, the OEM charging handle doesn’t have enough clearance to comfortably rack the gun, while avoiding clipping the bolt release with your fingers. The clearance the Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging Handle provides, greatly improves the confidence with which you can rack the bolt, knowing that your fingers are in the clear.

While the 0.75″ charging handle was a great cosmetic upgrade to my nelli, it has been problematic in actual use over the last 8 months of having it… the extra circular leverage makes it very easy to accidentally roll it out of the detent and have it pop out of the bolt. The oem charging handle is a much tighter/ secure fit. Id like to try 0.55″ but with how much these are im hesitant to spend more on the smaller one in an attempt to fix this issue.

I ordered for the MAC 1014. The fit and install were easy. The toughest part of the install was the extraction of the factory charging handle. Neat added bonus, the factory rubber storage bumper MAC sends with their gun fits inside the cavity of the large charging handle, still allowing a buffer between guns in the rack.

Thanks for the review! Our charge handle retention depends on the detent of the firearm. Some clones have a robust detent, but after inserting and remove a few times, it should smooth out a bit. 100% worth the upgrade, it not spinning really helps to manipulate the action, feels good. only “Issue” is that it is very hard to remove from the bolt to clean the gun, i have to use a pair of pliers to remove it. other than that though its perfect, just wish now that i got the bigger one instead!
