Benelli M4 Charging Handle Titanium

For the Benelli M4 owner that wants no compromise, this Benelli M4 charging handle is the cream of the crop crafted with the highest quality exotic metals for superior performance and quality.  The Rx Arms Benelli M4 charging handle Titanium is the best of the best, made with a high quality Titanium handle permanently fused with a hardened stainless steel tang, creating in essence a 1pc charge handle.  This Anti-Spin, Locking Design keeps the bolt handle in place while racking the bolt.  It is CNC Precision Machined to tight tolerances to ensure optimal performance.  This same Locking Design is also utilized in the Rx Arms  7075Al Benelli M4 Charging Handle.

The Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging Handle is a low weight of 11.8 grams, the same as the OEM handle but much larger. Outside diameter of handle is 0.55″, and features a “volcano” style knurl to reduce sharpness on skin.  Handle is premium finished in Cerakote Black, the same finish as our Benelli M4 Bolt Release Tab.

Anti-Spin, Locking Design.  For installation, rotate the handle while pushing into the bolt, this will make it easier to get the detent to compress.  My Benelli M4 Parts and Accessories  are all made here in Canada.  Ships to USA and Canada.

Benelli M4 Titanium Charging Handle Specs:

  • Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging Handle is specifically designed and tested for the Benelli M4.
  • Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging Handle is much larger than the factory Benelli M4 Charging Handle, while also keeping the same weight due to the use of Titanium.  This keeps the bolt cycling as Benelli designed.
  • The Volcano Knurl gives superior grip while avoiding too sharp edges to cut the skin.
  • Material: Rx Arms Benelli M4 Titanium Charging Handle is made from 6AL-4V titanium, typically used in aerospace design to give the best weight to strength ratio.  The Tang is made from 42+ RC hard stainless steel.  Other titanium charging handle tangs will deform over time from contact with the detent.  This is why I designed my handle to have a hardened stainless steel tang, to reduce deformation.
  • Rx Arms Benelli M4 Charging handle features an Anti Spin, Locking design.  Once inserted, it locks into place.
  • Premium finish with Cerakote Black to match the Benelli M4.
  • Weight: 11.8 grams (little less than OEM).  This is much less weight than other oversize charging handles, which typically can weigh upwards of 28 grams.  Other handles may be prone to breakage due to overweight handles and the whip of the cycling bolt.

Installation Instructions:

Since our charging handle is designed to lock into place, it can also be tougher to remove straight out as designed.  If you have a brand new Benelli M4, it is suggested to put a dab of oil on the charging handle detent holes before installing it for the first time.  The detent in the M4 can have burrs or rough metal that will wear over time from inserting and removing the charging handle.  But initially, can be a source of friction when trying to remove the charging handle.

Benelli M4 Charging Handle ClearenceWhy Upgrade The OEM Benelli M4 Charging Handle?

A question I see a lot online, is why bother upgrading the OEM charging handle at all?  While the original design is a classic look, the size can be impractical if using an aftermarket bolt release mod such as our Benelli M4 Bolt Release Tab.  Although it can work, typically, with an aftermarket bolt release tab, the OEM charging handle doesn’t have enough clearance to comfortably rack the gun, while avoiding clipping the bolt release with your fingers.  The clearance my Benelli M4 Charging Handle provides, greatly improves the confidence with which you can rack the bolt, knowing that your fingers are in the clear.

    The bigger size make it much more comfortable to operate with a single finger. I feel like the OEM charging handle was much too thin. I do wish it had three or four detent pockets rather than just two, for better retention.

    Haven’t been on the range yet but have done a lot of practice rounds and find that it pops out quite easily. I really like the concept and idea but when you compare it to the OEM the indent is wider and has a greater ability to stay in. Yours does twist and lock into place, however I found when racking the slide it would turn and then fall out.

      Thanks for the review! In my testing, I have discovered Benelli has different detent pressures sometimes on some M4s. Once in a blue moon the charge handle can more easily rotate out on some M4s if you have too much rotational force with your fingers, but this is a Benelli tolerance problem on the detent or detent spring. With this said I stand by my products, get in touch with me to discuss further.

Best thing about this simple upgrade is that I’m not ripping my hands up on the sharp edge of the bolt channel.     I am a few months overdue to write this review for this superlative product.

    The fit, finish and function on these titanium charging handles are absolutely flawless:

    1. The part drops right in to my Benelli M4 SBS.

    2. The knurling is just right, not too deep and not too shallow; and gives a positive grip in all weather conditions without tearing up your fingers or gloves.

    3. Unlike other charging handles on the market, these have the detents that lock the handle and prevent it from rolling 360 degrees (and right out of your fingers).

    4. The clearances are perfect. This charging handle will not rub against or gouge your receiver like some by TT.

    5. I have both the titanium head and all steel charging handles by Rx. I am amazed at how much lighter and faster (on the bolt closure) the titanium model is.

    6. The Cerakote finish on these is flawless. It is uniformly applied and matte (non-reflective), and is extremely durable. I’ve handled mine a lot in the past 3 months and there is zero wear or shiny spots to the high points of the knurling.

    7. The overall design is subdued and practical, not blingy. The ergonomics are just right for quick, snag-free access and solid grasp without excess weight and mass.

    8. The installation and removal is quick and easy (just push and twist to install, and twist and pull to remove) and yet the retention into the receiver when installed is rock solid. These are all testaments to the precision machining on this part.

    9. Though a two-part design, with a titanium head joined to a steel shaft, there are zero worries with this assembly coming apart. I’m not sure what Rx did to bond these components together, but it is a rock-solid, high-strength fusion that feels like unibody construction.

    This is without any doubt, in my opinion, the very best charging handle upgrade you can buy for the Benelli M4.

    It is money well spent, for me, with zero buyers remorse, and a major improvement to the usability of my Benelli M4 LE SBS.

    I highly recommend this product.

    Purchasing was straight forward and so was delivery considering I am located in the U.S.A. The product itself is all quality and solid. The texture, finish, and positive contact during drills is notably better than the factory and other extended aftermarket charging handles because of the diameter and extended length being perfect with or without gloves as well as arid or wet environments. The knurled surface and matte finish are the only way to go. I bought two of these titanium charging handles one for me and one for my range buddy.

    Purchased a cheaper charging handle (SJ Hardware) and while shooting in the cold one day it snapped right off!
    Lasted 200 rounds

    Purchased the RX arms handle and so far im over 800rnds with no problems, and this includes cold winter shooting.
    Also it’s just nicer and more ergonomic than others and sits closer to the bolt so you avoid that finger pinching gap!
